Microsoft Azure is one of the largest public cloud platforms. Companies use it to run virtual machines, websites, databases, storage and AI services without buying their own servers. Azure Fundamentals is the starting point for anyone who wants to work with cloud technology, whether in a technical role such as cloud support or in sales, project and management roles that deal with cloud projects.
This 24-hour course follows the skill areas of Microsoft's AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals exam: cloud concepts and service models, Azure architecture (regions, availability zones, resource groups, subscriptions), core compute, networking and storage services, identity and security with Microsoft Entra ID, and cost management and governance tools. You explore each service in the Azure portal using a free or student account. Classes are held in the classroom at CADD centres and in live online sessions, with practice questions after each module.
The exam itself is booked separately with Microsoft. After AZ-900 learners usually move on to Azure Administrator, Azure developer or AI and data courses.
Students rate the course after they finish it — their ratings appear here.
