This Policy explains how a student, user or franchise centre owner of CADD Training Centre can name a nominee, and what the nominee may and may not do.
Part A – Students and users
- Right to nominate. As allowed by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, a student or user may nominate one person who can exercise his / her rights about personal data, records and certificates in the event of death or incapacity.
- How to nominate. Send a written request (or use the option in the login, when available) with the nominee's name, relationship, mobile, e-mail and ID proof. A nomination can be changed or cancelled the same way. The latest nomination we receive is valid.
- What the nominee can do. On submitting the death certificate or a medical certificate of incapacity and his / her own ID, the nominee may obtain a copy of the issued certificate and marksheet, the fee receipts, and ask for correction or closure of the account.
- What the nominee cannot do. A nominee cannot attend the course, take an exam, receive a new certificate in his / her name, or claim a refund; fees remain governed by the Refund, Cancellation & Shipping Policy.
- No nomination. If no nominee is registered, we act on the request of the legal heir after verification of documents to our satisfaction.
Part B – Franchise centre owners
- Nomination. The owner of a franchise centre may nominate one person in the franchise form or later in writing, with ID proof.
- Death or incapacity. The nominee must inform the Company in writing within 30 days. The nominee may apply within 90 days to continue the centre.
- Company's approval. Continuation is a new grant at the Company's sole discretion, after checking the nominee's suitability, premises and dues, and needs a fresh agreement and any fees then applicable. A nomination does not give an automatic right to the franchise, the brand or the territory.
- Students come first. Until a decision is made, the Company may run the centre itself, appoint a person or transfer the students to another centre so that their training and certificates are not affected. Fees collected and dues of the centre are settled from the centre's account.
- No approval. If continuation is not approved or not applied for in time, the franchise agreement ends and its exit terms apply.
