AutoCAD Civil 3D is Autodesk's design and documentation software for civil infrastructure. It works with intelligent, linked objects: survey points build a terrain surface, the surface feeds road profiles, and corridors produce cross sections and earthwork volumes that update when the design changes. Highway and railway consultants, land surveyors, site development engineers, contractors and urban infrastructure teams use it daily.
Our 60-hour Civil 3D course follows the order of a real project. You set up templates and styles in Toolspace, import survey points with point groups and description keys, and create TIN surfaces with breaklines, boundaries and contours. You then design horizontal alignments, vertical profiles, assemblies and corridors, cut sample lines and section views, and compute cut and fill quantities and mass haul. Grading with feature lines, parcels and gravity pipe networks follow, and the course closes with plan and profile sheet production for a complete road project. Training is practical on the software, offered in classrooms at CADD centres and in live online classes, with a CADD Training Centre certificate that employers can check online.
Civil 3D supports careers as a highway design engineer, survey CAD engineer or infrastructure draughtsman. You should know AutoCAD 2D before joining; afterwards, structural or BIM courses broaden your profile further.

Civil 3D is used for civil infrastructure design: surveying data, terrain surfaces, roads and highways, earthwork quantities, site grading and drainage pipe networks, all linked so that changes update automatically.
Civil engineering students, diploma holders, surveyors and highway or site design engineers can join. You should already know AutoCAD 2D commands before starting.
The AutoCAD Civil 3D course is 60 hours long and takes you from survey points to a finished road project with plan and profile sheets.
Yes. Besides classroom training at CADD centres, AutoCAD Civil 3D runs as live online classes in which you build surfaces and corridors for a sample road on your own PC as the trainer demonstrates.
Yes. A CADD Training Centre certificate is issued when you finish the AutoCAD Civil 3D course, and a highway consultant can check it online by scanning its QR code.
Yes. Alignments, profiles, assemblies and corridors in Civil 3D are built for road, highway and railway design, and the same model gives cross sections and earthwork volumes.
Civil 3D helps in roles such as highway design engineer, survey CAD engineer, infrastructure draughtsman and site development designer with consultants and construction companies.
Civil 3D is heavier than plain AutoCAD. A Windows 64-bit PC with a modern multi-core processor, 16 GB RAM and a dedicated graphics card gives smooth performance on large surfaces.
