ZWCAD is CAD software from ZWSOFT for 2D drafting and 3D design. It reads and saves DWG and DXF files and offers an interface and command set similar to AutoCAD, so engineers, architects and draftsmen use it for plans, layouts and part drawings while exchanging files easily with clients and consultants.
The 60-hour ZWCAD Professional course starts with the ribbon and classic interfaces, drawing setup and DWG handling. You draw accurate 2D geometry with coordinates, object snaps and tracking, use Smart Mouse gestures, and edit with modify tools, grips and Smart Select. Layers and object properties, blocks with attributes, dynamic block basics, tool palettes and external references come next, followed by annotation with text and dimension styles, multileaders, tables, hatches and annotative scaling. You then set up layouts and viewports, print with Smart Plot and export PDF files, and finish with productivity tools such as File Compare, inquiry commands and an introduction to 3D solids and generated views. Two projects, a building plan and a mechanical part drawing, lead to a plot-ready drawing set. Training is hands-on, in a CADD classroom or live online.
The course supports roles such as CAD draftsman, drafting engineer and detailing draftsman in firms using DWG-based CAD. Because skills transfer both ways, AutoCAD Master is a natural companion course.
