Python is a general-purpose programming language valued for its readable syntax and huge collection of libraries. It powers websites, data analysis, machine learning and test automation, and engineers use it to automate calculations, process Excel and sensor data and write scripts for design and simulation tools. That breadth makes it a sensible first language for students from computer science, civil, mechanical, electronics and automation backgrounds alike.
This 60-hour Python course starts with the basics, so no coding experience is needed. You write programs with variables, data types, operators and input and output, control the flow with if-else, loops and exception handling, and store and process data with lists, tuples, sets and dictionaries. You then create your own functions, modules and packages and apply object-oriented programming with classes, objects and inheritance. Practical sessions on reading and writing text, CSV and Excel files show how Python automates everyday tasks, and small projects let you combine everything you have learned. Lessons are hands-on, in the classroom at CADD centres or in live online classes.
The course prepares you for entry roles such as Python developer trainee, automation tester or data analyst trainee. Many learners move on to Django, data science or machine learning.
